Packed Meals for Office Events: What to Order for Meetings, Trainings, and Team Lunches
You've booked the conference room. You've sent the calendar invite. And then, two days before, someone asks the question that always lands on the office admin: "So, may pagkain na ba?"
Feeding a room full of officemates isn't the same as feeding a party. There's no buffet table, nobody wants to line up during a 30-minute break, and half your attendees will step out to take a call. This is exactly what packed meals are built for.
Here's how to order them properly.

Why Packed Meals Beat Trays at the Office
Party trays are wonderful for celebrations. For a working meeting, individually packed meals solve problems trays can't:
No serving line. Everyone grabs a box and sits down. You get people fed in five minutes instead of twenty — which matters when the break is short, and the agenda isn't.
Your headcount is your order. Twenty-two attendees, twenty-two meals. No guessing whether a large tray stretches far enough, no awkward last-person-gets-the-scrapings moment.
Mixed dietary needs There's usually at least one vegetarian, one no-pork, and one no-beef in any room of twenty. Message us on Facebook or Instagram, or send a Viber message to 0915-093-7171 — we can customize a packed meal that isn't on the list. We can label those boxes for you, and the person who needs it doesn't have to announce it to the room.
Utensils are already in the box. Every HOTDISH packed meal comes with disposable utensils. Nobody has to run out for plastic spoons.
They travel and hold. Attendees who step out for a client call can eat theirs twenty minutes later. Late arrivals still have a meal waiting with their name on it.
Leftovers go home cleanly. An unclaimed box is baon for someone. An unclaimed half-tray is a problem for the pantry fridge.
When to order trays instead: year-end parties, team celebrations, farewells, anything where the whole point is people mingling around a table. Our party tray serving guide covers those, and this comparison walks through trays versus full-service catering.
Choosing Your Price Tier
Our packed meals range from ₱220 to ₱470, and the right tier depends less on your budget than on who's in the room.
₱220 to ₱270 — regular team lunches and internal meetings Rice or Pancit, a main viand, and a side. Straightforward, filling, and the sweet spot for recurring meetings where food is a courtesy rather than the occasion. Start with our ₱220 box with snack-size Pancit Sisig, Shanghai Lumpia, and Pichi-Pichi — good for AM/PM breaks rather than lunch. Or our ₱260 Creamy Spaghetti with Buttered Fried Chicken box.
₱270 to ₱340 — trainings, workshops, and all-day sessions More components per box, which matters when people are sitting through six hours of content and lunch is the only real break. Take a look at our ₱330 box with Pancit Sisig, Buttered Fried Chicken, and Shanghai Lumpia or the ₱340 box with Buttered Fried Chicken, Fish Fillet Tempura, and Beef Caldereta.
₱370 to ₱470 — client meetings, board sessions, and audits The multi-viand boxes. Packed Meal L comes with Pancit Sisig, Beef Caldereta, Mixed Veggies w/ Quail Egg, and Pork BBQ alongside the rice — it reads as a proper meal, not office catering. Worth the difference when someone external is in the room.
The Office Admin's Ordering Checklist
Order for headcount plus two. There is always a walk-in — the visiting manager, the IT guy fixing the projector, the intern nobody counted (oops). Two spare boxes cost less than the scramble.
Time delivery 15 to 20 minutes before the break, not at it. You want the boxes stacked and ready when the room empties, not arriving while everyone stands around waiting.
Give the exact building and floor at checkout. Office towers with lobby security, tenant sign-in, and freight-elevator-only rules can add fifteen minutes to a delivery. A specific note saves that time.
Book weekends and holiday season early. December is heavily booked across Metro Manila. If your year-end sessions are on the calendar, lock the delivery dates while you still can.
